Wild camping: Aguilas, Spain
We found out about this free camping spot on the internet. It’s located just down the coast from Aguilas. Just head south on the coastal road and look out for a left turn that leads down to the beach. When we stayed there we shared the spot with around 7 campervans during the day and only 4 stayed the whole night. There was a sign that said no camping with an image of a tent that didn’t seem to stop anyone. The police seemed to patrol the spot but never asked anyone to move on. This being a well known wild camping spot and having other motorhomes around made it feel very secure. It can get a little windy but there is plenty of bushes to shelter behind.
After a little walk we also noticed more campervans parked in the next bay. This seemed to be a massive car park which I assume can be accessed by carrying on down the road about half a kilometer.
