Here’s something no motorhome or campervan should ever leave the driveway without.
The Haynes Motorcaravan Manual was invaluable to us during our first camping trip around Europe in 2008. We used it to find information on understanding and maintaining electrical systems, water supply, gas appliances and sources, general maintenance, along with pretty much all other aspects of motorhoming. I don’t know where we would have been without it.
In addition it contains some really interesting chapters on different DIY-conversion projects which made for very interesting reading during quieter moments of our time away. We were also over-excited to see a real-life (and very rare) Starcraft DIY motor home that we wouldn’t have known about without reading this book.
Mainly, this book is truly indispensable to anyone camping or living in any kind of coachbuilt or converted motorhome – who doesn’t want to become fluent in many languages and find a local dealer or garage whenever they have a problem or question about the complex workings of a motorhome!
