Explore europe in a campervan

Hello!  It’s nice to see everyone’s having a look.  We’re working on the pictures.  Having Vista trouble as usual (my laptop has this new Microsoft operating system where nothing works like it used to).

Today we’ve had lots of rain, lots of hail, some blue sky and now snow!  There’s loads of snow forecast at 1700m altitude which is great because that’s where we’ll be snowboarding….eventually!  Being terribly organised as usual we didn’t transfer sufficient fund into our Nationwide bank account until Saturday.  This is the only account that doesn’t charge for foreign transactions and has the best exchange rate.  If we pay any other way the bankers get nearly a hundred extra quid out of us and we just can’t let that happen!  So we’re sitting tight until tomorrow.

At least we’ve got lots of jobs done today.  Replaced the Whale mixer tap that had broken, stuck on our new blindspot mirrors, sorted and cleaned the roof vent and fan, fixed the head rest, replaced some manky old screws….and collected 8 bottles of water from the natural spring and poured them into the tank!  A visit to the shop and the pharmacy and we’re all stocked up and ready to go!

The internet at the internet cafe was terrible slow yesterday - we had hoped they would have upgraded or done something by now to improve it!  We’ve er ‘found’ a bit of internet to use right now, but this evening we’re going to meet an English chalet owner, hopefully to come to an arrangement about getting some regular wi-fi there.

So it hasn’t been time wasted and we’ve also been doing work ready to upload.  Soooo…pictures very soon!

Hope you’re all not too cold and cars have been retrieved from the snow!
