Around 23 days till the off, still lots to do!
We plan to leave for Europe sometime after Christmas day but before New Years Eve. That gives us around 18 days until we go! I have 9 more days left at work and Lucy has untill the end of the week before we can say ‘B bye’ to the rat race. So although we have done a number of things such as buy a campervan, put the house up for rent, thrown out some clutter, researched campervan related stuff, there is still lots to do!
House
- Finish painting shed
- Tidy fence
- Fix drawers
- Clear out and refill the loft
- Rehome the tv
- Remove all personal belongings and clutter
- Rehome Willow the cat :’(
Personal
- Get a camping card so we don’t need to hand over passports to camp sites
- Make sure finances are in order
- Sort out postal arrangements
- Setup internet banking
Campervan
- Get travel kettle and a big all-purpose pan with lid
- Get a melamine Dinner set
- Get refillable LPG gas bottle and filler kit fitted
- Choose and buy storage for van’s garage
- water connection hose
- Electric heater for when we are hooked up and as a backup
- Buy 12v gas alarm
- Look into buying a safe
- Insulate everything we can and create some insulated screens / curtains
- Get it washed, inerior cleaned and paintwork sealed
- Install a decent sound system for the cab and living quarters , all running off the leisure battery
Cars
- sell my car before I need insurance on the 20th December
- do something with Lucy’s car
